Our first range showcases exactly that, built around an often-overlooked ingredient: coffee chaff.

Coffee chaff is a by-product of the roasting process and is usually thrown away, despite being highly nutritious with a naturally malty, caramel-like flavour. By upcycling chaff, we’re giving it a second life — and this is just the beginning.

We’re committed to expanding our range by rescuing more overlooked ingredients and doing our part to reduce food waste.
Why does this matter?
If food waste were a country, it would be the third-largest contributor to greenhouse gases, behind only the US and China.

It’s a huge problem — and one that’s completely avoidable.
At Laffe, we’re determined to change that narrative. We recover high-quality ingredients that would otherwise be discarded by manufacturers and the wider food industry, and we turn them into products worth celebrating.
