A rich, smooth and distinctive spiced rum from the Wensleydale Spirit Company in the Yorkshire Dales.
Made using a fermented molasses-based spirit and double distilled, Wensleydale Spiced Rum has been created to be enjoyed in its own right – not simply hidden behind a mixer. Its smooth, full-bodied character makes it equally enjoyable neat, over ice or as the foundation for a cocktail.
The flavour builds in layers. Cocoa, vanilla and tangerine zest bring richness and subtle citrus notes, while ginger, black pepper and cardamom introduce a warming spiced character. Rather than overwhelming the palate with heat, the spices develop gradually, giving warmth and complexity alongside the deeper, more indulgent flavours of the rum.
The Wensleydale Spirit Company produces its spirits in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, where its independent distillery is based at the historic Leyburn railway station. Founded in 2018, the company has developed a range of premium spirits inspired by its Yorkshire home.

The Wensleydale Distillery hand creates an award-winning range of gin, rum, vodka and liqueurs at Leyburn Station in the Yorkshire Dales, using traditional copper stills and local Dales ingredients.
The Wensleydale Distillery was founded in 2018 by Chris Taplin, who previously owned the well known Stone House Hotel in Hawes, Wensleydale. Having spent years pouring gins from all over the country for his hotel guests, Chris couldn't help noticing that nobody was making a gin in the Yorkshire .....
