They fix nitrogen directly from the atmosphere, completely eliminating the need for energy-intensive, synthetic N-fertilisers required for traditional gin-making grains like barley or rye. By removing these chemicals from our process, Eco Gin achieves a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to conventional gin.
Cleaner Soils & Waterways: Beyond the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, avoiding artificial nitrogen mitigates other critical issues. It prevents soil acidification and drastically reduces fertiliser runoff into rivers and waterways.
