Our Roots and Inspiration
Giuliana’s creative flair and advertising background meet Afonso’s legal mind and deep love of gastronomy, a passion shaped by his mother and grandmother.
We met at school, and our shared love for food quickly became the heart of our journey.
Raised in kitchens where flavour and family came first, Giuliana learned the art from her father, while Afonso mastered sweets alongside his family. In 2008, at just 18, we turned our dream into reality with the birth of Giuliana Pimenta Bem Casados e Doces Finos.
The Evolution of Our Craft
Our entrepreneurial voyage commenced with crafting exquisite chocolates for children's parties, quickly becoming a cherished part of celebrations from maternity wards in São Paulo to baptisms and birthdays.
This success laid the foundation for our foray into the world of wedding confections, where we sought to infuse traditional flavours with a unique twist, delighting brides and their families alike.
Our commitment to innovation and quality saw our business flourish, transforming us into a household name for over 400 weddings annually in our early 20s. Yet, our thirst for knowledge and growth led us beyond Brazilian shores.
A Global Perspective
Ten years in, we studied Coffee Economics in Trieste, Italy, inspired by its culinary traditions and stunning Piazza Unità D’Italia.
Our journey then led to London, where we now live and grow new ventures.
Giuliana Pimenta continues to thrive in São Paulo, enchanting over a thousand weddings annually, while we explore fresh opportunities abroad — a story shaped by love, learning, and a drive for excellence.
