We are June & Lara, a mother and daughter tiny business based in North Cornwall. We work under the name Binty's Farm, which we use for our smallholding activities including wool production and our marmalades.

Our main products are marmalade (plain, honey, ginger and whisky) which are made to a family recipe used by my grandmother. We originally made marmalade for ourselves, but after entering it in a local show (just for fun), we ended up winning our class and people started asking if we'd make it for them! We started making 'commercially' (for others) in 2022.

The flagship product is our honey marmalade which is made using honey from our own hives in North Cornwall; we're hoping to increase the number of hives this year and introduce a colony of Cornish Black Bees which are native to Cornwall and are happier to fly on our damp days than other strains of bee.

We try to keep our environmental impact to a minimum; sadly Cornwall isn't known for its orange production(!) so these are bought in from a supplier. All of our jars are glass with metal lids (we don't use plastic) and we use recycled/recyclable packaging.
