Our Story

Fruitology began during the 2020 lockdown as a creative idea to make homemade spirit infusions simple, enjoyable and full of natural flavour. The concept was to hand-pack bottles with carefully selected dried fruits, herbs and botanicals, allowing anyone to create beautifully infused spirits at home by simply adding their favourite gin, vodka or rum. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

In 2023, the business entered an exciting new chapter when Michelle took over the brand. Seeing the potential in the original idea, she transformed Fruitology into a family-run business while remaining true to its founding philosophy of creating fun, natural and easy-to-use infusion kits.

Since then, Fruitology has expanded its range with new flavour combinations, reusable refill pouches and gift ideas while exhibiting at major food and drink events across the UK. The business continues to grow through independent retailers, artisan markets and food festivals, introducing more people to the enjoyment of creating their own bespoke flavoured spirits at home.

Fruitology - our story

Meet The Team

Fruitology is owned by Michelle Pratt, who took over the business in 2023 after recognising the potential of its unique spirit infusion kits. A mum of two from Horsham, Michelle has transformed the small business into a growing artisan brand with the support of her husband Dave and the rest of her family}

Fruitology is very much a family affair. Michelle and her family hand-pack the infusion bottles, prepare labels, attend food festivals and meet customers at events throughout the year. Their hands-on approach has helped maintain the personal feel of the business while expanding its reach across the UK.

How It's Made

Every Fruitology infusion kit is hand-packed in West Sussex using carefully selected freeze-dried fruits, herbs, botanicals and natural sugar. Customers simply add their chosen spirit, leave it to infuse for several weeks and then enjoy a bespoke flavoured gin, vodka or rum.

Once the infusion is complete, the fruit can still be enjoyed in desserts, cocktails or as a garnish, helping customers make the most of every bottle. Refillable pouches are also available, allowing favourite flavours to be recreated using the original reusable glass bottle.

Sustainability

Fruitology encourages customers to reuse its glass infusion bottles by offering refill pouches for many of its most popular blends. This simple approach helps reduce packaging waste while allowing customers to continue enjoying their favourite infusions.

Every infusion kit is hand-packed in small batches using natural dried fruits, herbs and botanicals, reflecting the company's focus on quality and craftsmanship.

Where You'll Find Us
